Room layout and details for The ParlourThe Parlour was built in 1681-82 and the splendid oak panelling fitted in 1783. The room was destroyed by incendiary bombs in 1940 but the reconstruction process gives much of the original effect. The furniture includes an impressive regency sideboard and wine cooler; the focal point of the room is a strikingly original convex minor purchased by the Company in 1804.
